Prelims papers

Prelims - English Language

  • Reading comprehension (story / factual / cloze-based)
  • Cloze test, para-jumbles, and sentence rearrangement
  • Error spotting and phrase / sentence correction
  • Fillers (single, double), vocabulary and word usage

Prelims - Numerical Ability

  • Simplification and approximation
  • Number series (missing, wrong term)
  • Arithmetic word problems (percentage, ratio, profit & loss, SI-CI, time & work, time & distance, mensuration)
  • Basic data interpretation (table, bar, pie, line)

Prelims - Reasoning Ability

  • Puzzles and seating arrangement (linear, circular, box, floor-based)
  • Syllogism, inequalities, coding-decoding
  • Blood relation, direction sense, ranking and order
  • Alphanumeric series, input-output, miscellaneous logical questions

Mains papers

General / Financial Awareness

  • Banking awareness (types of accounts, RBI, monetary policy)
  • Static banking and financial terms
  • Government schemes and budget / economic survey highlights
  • Current affairs (national, international, banking) relevant to last 4–6 months

General English

  • RC with inference, tone and vocabulary-based questions
  • Cloze test, para-completion, para-jumbles
  • Error detection, phrase replacement, sentence improvement
  • Vocabulary (idioms & phrases, one-word substitution, word usage)

Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude

  • High-level puzzles, seating arrangement and blood relations
  • Syllogism, inequalities, input-output, logical reasoning sets
  • Basics of computer hardware / software and MS Office
  • Internet, networking, security basics and digital banking concepts

Quantitative Aptitude

  • Data interpretation (table, bar, pie, line, caselet DI)
  • Advanced arithmetic (mixture-alligation, partnership, probability, permutation & combination)
  • Data sufficiency and quantity comparison
  • Number series, quadratic equations, and miscellaneous quant sets

Interview / language focus areas

  • No interview; local language proficiency test may apply after final selection.
  • Local language proficiency as per state / circle, including reading and basic writing where applicable
  • Basic customer interaction scenarios and banking service awareness
