Prelims - Reasoning

Prelims - Quantitative Aptitude / Numerical Ability

Reasoning

Quantitative Aptitude

  • Data interpretation (table, bar, pie, line, radar and caselets)
  • Arithmetic (mixture-alligation, partnership, probability, permutation & combination)
  • Data sufficiency and comparison of quantities
  • Series, quadratic equations and miscellaneous quant sets

General Awareness

  • Current affairs (national, international, banking) for last few months
  • Banking awareness with focus on regional rural banks where relevant
  • Government schemes, agriculture / rural development schemes
  • Static GK and important reports / indices

English / Hindi Language (as opted)

  • Reading comprehension and cloze test
  • Error detection and sentence rearrangement
  • Vocabulary and grammar usage in the chosen language
  • Basic writing skills for functional communication

Computer Knowledge

  • Computer basics, hardware and software
  • Operating systems and MS Office
  • Internet, email, networking basics
  • Computer security and digital banking basics

Interview / language focus areas

  • PO includes interview, and local language proficiency may be required depending on state.
  • Awareness of regional rural banking structure and local economy
  • Local language proficiency as per state and bank requirements
  • Interview focus on profile, rural awareness and banking aptitude
